Unique custom made and sculptural round wall mounted hooks.
These pieces are made to order are hand carved so each piece is a unique. They are made using a combination of two contrasting timbers. Oak and Ash timbers complement each other the oak has a warmth rich colour and tight deep grain and when it is carved this intensifies the grain and texture of the Oak. The Ash on the other hand has a soft, fine and smooth feel with a wide long grain with a pale cream/white colour. This creates a unique look and textural piece, they are also functional pieces the joint between the two timber is a pivot so the small side can be moved outward to create a hook. They can be positioned vertically or horizontally to your personal needs. Also the magnetic fixing that holds the two pieces together can be use to hold keys which makes them perfect for entryway wall hook, coat hook, wall storage, towel wall hook and many other functions.
They come in either Oak and Ash (large side Oak and Ash Small Side), Ash and Oak (large side Ash and Oak Small Side), all Ash or all Oka and can be finish in either raw, oil or burnt black (large side only). Please note this is a custom piece and can be made in combination of timbers, Walnut and Ash, Oak and Beech, Mahogany and Pine or anyother combination you would like. They are very easily fixed in to walls or doors and all fixings are supplied, each hook comes with a universal wall plug and have a die cast M6 fitting inserted into the hook. To install
1. Drill a pilot hole in desired location for the wall plug
2. Place the plug in the pilot hole
3. Screw the fixing half way to the plug
4. Screw the hook in to position on the remainder of the fixing.
Note: if fixing to a timber structure the wall plug isn't required. If fixing to plaster board walls please fix to stud and if that’s no possible make note order specific plasterboard wall plugs and I all including them. Note: load capacity of plasterboard alone is significant less than securing to a solid wall, timber frames or wall studs.
